The cost of stress is beyond the high financial impact of replacement temps and interims, beyond the delays, beyond the reduced productivity and workplace pressure. Stress is still one of the highest reasons for sickness absence in the workplace.
Even if it is not the primary cause as to why people are absent, a physical illness can often be the result of stress, as it manifests within the mind and body.
By helping people to understand their own neurological wiring they can then recognise what happens to them mentally and physically when they experience stress, change or trauma.
Pre-curser to the workshop is to complete a Brain based profile tool – that has been developed by a neuroscientist with over 30 years’ experience successfully working with people of all levels – and will help them to identify and understand their own lateral brain dominances.
The aim of the 1-day workshop will be to ultimately reduce the levels of stress. It will enable leaders to recognise stress signals in themselves and their teams and provide interventions. It will help people move productively and effectively back to and keep them in the workplace.
For the individual, it can reduce the risk of poor decisions later in the day, increase their productivity, improve their stress coping mechanisms, improve stamina and performance, and recognise how they can achieve neuro agility. This is a totally different perspective of looking at managing themselves and others.
